Jette Brownlee, Bethel No. 28, PHQ Bethel No. 40, Wyoming
| My name is Jette Brownlee, and I'm a Past Honored Queen of Bethel # 40 in Casper and
a member of Bethel #28 Casper. I graduated from Kelly Walsh High School in 2007, and received a music scholarship
to Casper College. Fortunately the College is willing to put my scholarships on hold this year as I travel as Supreme
Bethel Honored Queen. I have been involved in Job's Daughters for 7 years, and throughout that time I have had many triumphs. I have held the stations of 1st 2nd, and 3rd messengers, all the line officers, (Guide and Junior Princess twice) Recorder, Musician, Chaplain and currently 4th Messenger for Bethel 28. I have had the pleasure of being chosen for Honor Bethel 3 years in a row. I have been Honor Bethel 3rd Messenger, Honor Bethel Junior Princess and Honor Bethel Musician. I have been on the Wyoming Supreme Messenger Team the past 4 years as 1st messenger, 3rd messenger, 2nd messenger, and this year I am 3rd messenger again. Being 3rd Messenger must be a good omen because in 2005, in Fresno California, and again this year, in Merrillville Indiana, the team won first place! Being a member of the Wyoming Supreme Messenger Team is very rewarding. I have held offices in Wyoming Grand Bethel as 1st Messenger, Junior Princess, Grand Bethel Representative to California #1, and last year was Grand Bethel Musician. At Supreme 2006 in Vancouver, BC I was selected for Supreme Bethel Musician and placed third in the ritual competition for Junior Princess. Supreme 2007 was even more rewarding when the Wyoming Supreme Messenger Team took 1st place, I placed second in the Story of Job, and the rest of the girls that competed individually all placed in their ritual work. Wyoming has great ritualists and I am proud to be from Wyoming! I enjoy the company of all the daughters and getting to know each and every one of you. I am honored to represent our girls, our adults, our state, and our Order as Supreme Bethel Honored Queen 2007-2008. |
