Drawing for VGG/VAGG Raffle @ Winter Festival

Drawing for the VGG/VAGG fundraising raffle will be held at Winter Festival - all tickets need to be turned in to me or Cliff by the dinner on Saturday evening. Anyone not attending Winter Festival needs to remember to either mail their tickets and money to me or send them with someone attending.

Winter Festival Information

Hello Wyoming Bethels!
Our second Grand Bethel meeting of the year will take place Friday evening in
conjunction with Winter Festival. Here is our schedule of events for the Grand
Bethel meeting:
Date: Friday, January 16, 2009
(Winter Festival activities Saturday, January 17!)
Time: Trustee Board Meeting -- 6:00 PM
Grand Bethel Meeting -- 7:30 PM
Place: Laramie Elks Lodge
103 S. 2nd St.
Attire: The GBHQ has requested the Grand Bethel Officers to wear their robes, while
Grand Bethel Representatives and other daughters may wear Jobie appropriate
casual attire! Adults may wear casual attire as well. Thank you!
Remember that GB officers who have memorized their ritual parts will earn their bethel
extra sweepstakes points!!!
Please attend the Grand Bethel meeting and Winter Festival! Join us for a fun,
relaxing and exciting weekend!
Bethel Guardians, please let me know if your officers or reps cannot attend so we
can arrange for pro-tems ahead of time.

WINTER FESTIVAL INVITATION

You are invited to the First Ever Job’s Daughter Winter Festival formally known as Ski Weekend on January 16, 17, and 18, 2009. This year there will be a Grand Bethel meeting on Friday night, a University of Wyoming Girls basketball game on Saturday and the always loved Dinner and Dance on Saturday night. Don’t forget to leave those dresses at home this is a casual fun weekend (Attire must be Jobie Appropriate). Grand Bethel officers will need their robes for the Friday night meeting. Grand Bethel Meeting. Friday night there will be a Grand Bethel meeting at the Elks Lodge in Laramie. This meeting is informal, but Jobie appropriate. Saturday Morning. Free time! The Albany County Recreation Center is open at 8:00 am and the pool opens at 8:30. If you want to go swimming or use this facility there will be a charge of $5.00 per person. Laramie has shopping downtown, and activities will be offered at the Masonic Temple that morning. Breakfast and lunch are on your own. University of Wyoming Game. The game is at 1:30 on Saturday afternoon at the UW Arena uditorium on Willett Drive. Parking is available in the public lots surrounding the Arena Auditorium. Dinner and Dance. The dinner and dance will begin at 7:00 pm on Saturday night at the Laramie Elks Lodge.


Permission Forms. Please send two copies of the double-sided Permission Form for each Jobie. Send
both in with your registration. Please do not send the original, as permission forms will NOT be returned.


Registration Form. The registration form must list all that are attending. Please indicate the haperones
on the registration form. Remember you will need one chaperone for every five Jobies. This form must
have contact information for the adult in charge. All applicable fields must be filled out to ensure proper
registration. Please remember that this includes the sweatshirt size. Also note that XXL sweatshirts are
$2.50 extra. Please double check your totals. Please send one (1) Bethel check covering everyone in your group. Make checks payable to “JD Winter Ski Festival”. Make sure all forms are completely filled out to ensure accurate registration. Registration and permission forms should be returned no later than January 3, 2009. If you fail to submit the forms by the deadline, I cannot guarantee your registration, tickets or sweatshirts. There will be a $10.00 late fee per person for all registrations received after the deadline. No refunds will be issued after January 5, 2009.

This year there are a few choices in hotels, Baymont Inn, Best Western, Econo Lodge, Hilton Garden Inn, Comfort Inn, and Holiday Inn. The blocks of rooms at these motels will drop on December 22, 2008. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BOOKING YOUR ROOMS!!! All hotels have a continental breakfast. To get the special room rates you must tell them that you are with Wyoming Job’s Daughters.
